I was generally following the tutorial <a href="http://pdw.weinstein.org/2007/06/apple-hacking-for-fun-and-profit.html">here,</a> but the general pitfalls of working with old computers and a limited supply of 5.25-inch floppies meant that some improvisation was necessary.</p> <p>Still, after several failed attempts, I got a terminal up and ran TTYtter, a command-line Twitter client written in perl. Ended up spending a while reading tweets on that gorgeous green screen.
